Collaboration agreement with GIZ to establish the Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy (CERE) at the Islamic University of Gaza
The Gaza Resilience Project will support the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Islamic University of Gaza to establish the Centre of Excellence in the Renewable Energy (CERE). The main drive behind the CERE is to promote the research and development projects in clean energy technology in Gaza Strip. The center is aiming to act as a hub for people interested in participating in energy research projects and activities. The transfer of knowledge and the creation of research and development culture among both undergraduate and graduate students is a key goal of the center. CERE will contribute to bridge the gap between researchers and local businesses and relevant stakeholders.
